Lead and motivate a team of 25 student leaders. Oversee planning and implementation of ministry events, mission trips, social media, service projects and Bible studies. Lead weekly meetings.

International and Domestic Service Trips | Volunteer | 2015 – Present

Volunteered doing disaster relief, construction work, children’s ministry, English classes, orphanage care and clothing/food distribution. Traveled and served in seven countries and four states.

President’s Emerging Leader’s Program | Student | 2014-Present

Hand selected into prestigious program. Attend leadership courses and gain hands-on leadership experience. Traveled to Trinidad and Tobago to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.

Media Relations/Service Learning | Student | Fall 2017

Identified, developed and evaluated marketing strategies for APSU Office of Career Services. Developed a media kits including a social media plan and content, event plan, press releases, etc.

APSU Admissions Office | Correspondent Rep. Supervisor | Fall 2014 – Spring 2017

Coordinated the contacting of prospective students and kept representatives on task. 

 

Communication Practicum | Student | Spring 2017                               

Worked with a team to plan and execute an event (Comm Carnival). Helped with all aspects, managed the social media, and wrote event planning articles for the department blog.

Planned the fifty-year reunion for the Class of 1966, completed event research, supervised student workers, analyzed data and created social media content.
